MUREE: A Suzuki Bolan carrying school children went out of control and fell off the road near Lower Mohra Bara Hotar, Masiyari, Murree. Immediately after the accident, the vehicle suddenly caught fire, as a result of which 10 people, including the driver, were injured.
According to Rescue 1122, children from government and private schools were on board the Suzuki Bolan that met with the accident. When the vehicle went out of control and fell off the road, it suddenly caught fire, after which rescue teams immediately reached the accident site.
Rescue personnel carried out relief operations and immediately pulled out the people trapped in the vehicle. 10 people, including the driver, were injured in the accident and were given first aid on the spot.
According to rescue sources, after first aid, all the injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Murree for further treatment, where they were provided medical assistance. Local sources say that most of the children suffered minor injuries in the accident.
After the accident, the firefighting team of Rescue 1122 took action and brought the fire in the Suzuki Bolan under control. On receiving information about the incident, Deputy Commissioner and Assistant Commissioner Murree also reached Civil Hospital and visited the injured children, while the medical facilities being provided to the injured by the administration were also reviewed.
According to rescue officials, investigations are underway by the relevant agencies to find out more about the reasons for the accident, while more information about the incident will be revealed after the investigations are completed.
