ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has explained the procedure for obtaining a Juvenile Card for a child whose one parent is Pakistani and the other is a foreign national.
According to NADRA officials, the process is relatively straightforward if the child already has a B-Form.
Both parents are not required to be present when applying for the child’s Juvenile Card. The presence of either parent is sufficient, provided the relevant Pakistani or foreign parent gives consent through a signature and biometric verification.
If the child already has a B-Form, the application process for the Juvenile Card can be initiated accordingly.
The child must be present during the application process, along with either parent. The application will be processed after the relevant parent completes the required signature and biometric verification.
This means parents of such children do not need to visit a NADRA office together to obtain the Juvenile Card. The application can be completed with the presence of either parent, subject to the required documentation and verification procedures.
