PESHAWAR: To support deserving students studying at registered religious seminaries, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has opened applications for the Rahmatul-lil-Alameen Scholarship 2026-27 for students from across the province.
The scholarship is being offered through the Auqaf, Hajj, Religious and Minority Affairs Department of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government. Male and female students enrolled in registered religious seminaries across the province can apply for the scholarship.
Students studying in religious education programmes, including Aalia, Alimiyah and Takhassus, are eligible to apply if they meet the required conditions. According to the latest scholarship listing, a total of 1,832 scholarships are available for eligible students. Successful applicants will receive Rs100,000 in financial support.
Applicants must have a permanent Khyber Pakhtunkhwa domicile and should be enrolled in an eligible registered religious seminary. The current scholarship listing requires applicants to have at least 59.99 per cent marks, along with fulfilling other academic and eligibility requirements.
Students are required to submit basic personal and academic documents, including their CNIC, domicile certificate, income certificate, educational documents and a profile picture. The government has set October 14, 2026 as the last date for submitting applications.
Eligible students can apply through the KP Scholarships Portal by creating an account, completing the online application form and uploading the required documents. Applicants have been advised to provide accurate CNIC, domicile and educational information while submitting their applications and to check the latest information available on the scholarship portal before applying.
