KINGSTON: Pakistani batter Maaz Sadaqat made history in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) final, scoring a blistering century for Jamaica Kings.
Maaz Sadaqat played a fantastic inning of 114 runs in 58 balls, comprising of eight fours and nine sixes for Jamaica Kings in CPL 2026.
With this exceptional inning, Maaz Sadaqat became the first Pakistani batter to score a century inning in the final match of a franchise T20 tournament and the first batter to score a century in a CPL final, as per the information.
Earlier in the Eliminator, he had scored 112 runs in 49 balls and became the youngest centurion in the history of CPL.

Even after an incredible hundred by Sadaqat, Jamaica Kings could only manage to post 170 runs on the board, which was chased down by Antigua and Barbuda Falcons with 20 balls remaining and losing only two wickets in return.
Sufiyan Muqeem took four wickets for 14 runs while Hasan Nawaz scored 47 runs and won the CPL title for Antigua and Barbuda Falcons.
Sadaqat finished CPL 2026 with 363 runs from seven matches at an average of 60.50 and a strike rate of 174.52.
