The provision of citizen services through the Pak ID app has been accelerated on the directives of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, with NADRA further simplifying the process of obtaining proof-of-life certificates for pensioners.
According to NADRA, more than 337,000 pensioners have obtained proof-of-life certificates over the past month, with around 52 per cent using the Pak ID app to access the service from home.
The data showed that 174,906 pensioners obtained their certificates through the app, while 134,521 received them from NADRA registration centres.
Another 24,248 pensioners obtained the certificates through e-Sahulat centres, while 3,585 used mobile registration vans.
NADRA said pensioners can obtain their proof-of-life certificates through the Pak ID app without visiting a registration centre, making the process more convenient and accessible.
