MARDAN: A three-day long Ist International Conference on Art, Design & Cultural Heritage (IcADCH) to kick off today (Saturday) September 19 at Khanaspur Galiyat.
Women University Mardan and Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan are jointly organising the conference, which will conclude on September 21. According to the orginizers, the basic aim of this three-day international conference is to bring together artists, researchers, academicians, designers and students from Pakistan and abroad to discuss contemporary issues in art, design and cultural heritage.
The participants will present research papers and exchange ideas on subjects including visual arts, literature, music, fashion, cultural preservation, art education and creative industries.
An exhibition featuring paintings, photography, sculptures, crafts and research posters is also part of the event so that to provide a platform to artists and researchers to showcase their work.
According to the organisers, the event is intended to promote academic collaboration, encourage cultural dialogue and highlight the importance of preserving cultural heritage through research and innovation.
