PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government’s Human Resource Management Department has issued two notifications concerning the promotion of a senior forest officer and the repatriation of another officer to his parent organisation.

The orders, approved by the chief secretary, have taken effect immediately.

According to the notifications, Raad Sher, a Grade-19 senior officer of the Forest Department, has been promoted to Grade 20 on a regular basis following recommendations from the Provincial Selection Board.

Following his promotion, Sher has been appointed as Chief Conservator of Forests. He has also been allowed to retain his current posting as Chief Conservator of the Malakand Forest Region III, Saidu Sharif, Swat.

The notification states that Sher will remain on probation for one year in accordance with the applicable civil service rules.

In a separate order, the provincial government has repatriated Saifullah Zafar, a Grade-18 officer of the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD), to his parent organisation.

Zafar had been awaiting a new posting in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Human Resource Department. Under the latest order, his services have been returned to the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Islamabad, in the public interest.

Both notifications were issued by the KP Human Resource Management Department following approval by the chief secretary.
