BARBADOS: Pakistani batter Maaz Sadaqat made history in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) by scoring his maiden T20 century in a sensational batting display.
Sadaqat’s explosive innings helped the Jamaica Kingsmen defeat the Barbados Tridents by nine wickets and secure a place in Qualifier 2.
The young batter had completed his half-century in as few as 22 deliveries but went on to complete his century in 44 deliveries. He made 112 runs off 49 deliveries with 9 fours and 8 sixes in his innings.
The dismissal of Sadaqat came in the 14th over but he had already played a fantastic inning for his team Jamaica Kingsmen.
