ISLAMABAD: Around 64,000 seats are still available under Pakistan’s private Hajj scheme, while more than 7,600 intending pilgrims have already completed their bookings.
According to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs, 25 authorised Hajj companies have so far received Rs6.88 billion through the official Hajj portal. The private Hajj booking process is continuing through the Pak Hajj App and official Hajj Portal, with November 20 set as the deadline for bookings.
The 25 authorised Hajj companies have introduced more than 2,000 Hajj packages offering different options for intending pilgrims, the spokesperson said. The ministry clarified that booking and payment under the private Hajj scheme can only be made through the Pak Hajj App and official Hajj Portal.
It urged the public to remain cautious and avoid depositing Hajj payments with any individual or company outside the official portal. The ministry also warned intending pilgrims against possible fraud and advised them to complete their bookings and payments only through the authorised digital channels.
