Artificial Intelligence is rapidly becoming a part of human life, but according to experts, not all AI technologies are the same as Artificial intelligence is divided into four basic types based on its capabilities and evolutionary stages: Reactive Machines, Limited Memory, Theory of Mind AI, and Self-Aware Artificial Intelligence.
First Type: Reactive Machines
This is the most basic form of AI. Such machines react to the data or situation in front of them, but do not form new memories from their experiences. Some systems that recommend movies and shows are an example of this.
Second Type: Limited Memory AI
These systems can use some past data or observations to make better decisions. Artificial intelligence used in self-driving cars is an example of this, which reacts by keeping the surrounding environment and previous information in mind.
Third Type Theory of Mind AI
This is still in the research and development stage. The concept is that such machines will be able to understand human emotions, intentions, thoughts, and social behaviours and change their response accordingly. Fourth Type: Self-Aware Artificial Intelligence
This is the most complex and currently theoretical type of AI. At this stage, the concept of a machine developing consciousness of its own identity and existence is presented.
According to Fox News, the first two levels of artificial intelligence are being used today in various forms, while Theory of Mind and Self-Aware AI are concepts related to future technology. If they become a reality, major changes can occur in the relationship between humans and machines, employment, education, health, and daily life.
