ISLAMABAD: GWM has officially announced the price of its Haval H6 PHEV (FWD) in Pakistan, providing customers with details of the vehicle’s latest pricing and booking requirements.
According to the announcement, the Haval H6 PHEV (FWD) has been priced at Rs. 10,849,000.
Customers interested in booking the vehicle will be required to pay a booking amount of Rs. 2,000,000.
The latest announcement gives prospective buyers clarity on the upfront amount required to reserve the Haval H6 PHEV (FWD), which is positioned as a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle in GWM’s Haval lineup.
Further details regarding deliveries, availability and other purchase terms may be announced by the company separately.
400km on One Charge: New Electric Car Coming to Pakistan
Meanwhile, Chery Master Pakistan has announced the launch of its fully electric vehicle, the Chery EQ, at the Pakistan Auto Show 2026, expanding its electric vehicle portfolio amid the growing demand for new energy vehicles in the country.
According to the company, the Chery EQ has been designed primarily for urban travel and everyday commuting. Its price will be officially announced on September 18 at the Pakistan Auto Show, with bookings also set to open on the same day.
The launch comes as Pakistan’s new energy vehicle market continues to expand. According to company data, the sector recorded a 392% increase during fiscal year 2025-26 and now accounts for approximately 15% of the country’s overall automobile market.
The Chery EQ is equipped with a 42.7 kWh battery, offering a driving range of up to 400 kilometres on a single charge under the NEDC testing cycle. The vehicle has an energy efficiency rating of up to 9.4 kilometres per unit.
The electric car also comes with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) featuring 21 driver-assistance functions. Other features include automatic parking assistance, a 15.6-inch 2.5K display, mobile connectivity and vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality.
Chery Master Pakistan said the vehicle could also offer significant savings on annual energy costs compared with conventional petrol-powered cars.
According to the company, a conventional petrol vehicle driven around 20,000 kilometres annually could incur fuel expenses of approximately Rs488,000. In comparison, the estimated annual energy cost of a Chery EQ charged using surplus solar electricity would be around Rs30,000.
The company also highlighted Pakistan’s growing adoption of solar energy. It said the country imported approximately 17 gigawatts of solar PV capacity in 2024, contributing to the expansion of rooftop solar installations.
With more households generating surplus solar electricity, Chery Master Pakistan said that excess power could potentially be used to charge electric vehicles instead of being fed back into the grid.
The official pricing and booking details for the Chery EQ are expected to be announced at the Pakistan Auto Show on September 18.
