PESHAWAR: Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) has approved increases in salary, allowances and pensions, which will be effective from July 1, 2026.
According to a PESCO notification, the employees’ disparity reduction allowance has been set at 15%, calculated on the basis of basic salaries as of June 30, 2022. Federal government terms and conditions will apply to this allowance.
Additionally, PESCO has increased the special convenience allowance for employees with disabilities from Rs 6,000 to Rs 10,000, while raising the standard convenience allowance for employees by 50%.
The company has also announced benefits for retired staff, increasing pensions by 7% from July 1. PESCO has directed that all the newly approved changes be implemented from July 1, 2026.
