Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi emphasized the critical need for structural reform, stating that the current governance system must be reset and new provinces be made on people choice.

Addressing the public, Naqvi remarked that individuals like Zohran Mamdani and Muhammad Sadiq will inevitably emerge in the political landscape, underscoring that progress cannot be dictated by a single person, government, or political party.

Advocating for administrative decentralization, Naqvi declared himself the strongest proponent of making Islamabad a full-fledged province. He argued that establishing new administrative units and enabling local leadership to take ownership is essential to fixing the country’s governance challenges.
