‎ABBOTTABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi inaugurated the 750-kanal Shamla Adventure Park in Abbottabad.

‎Built at a cost of Rs 850 million the park is aimed at providing modern recreational and adventure facilities for citizens and tourists.

‎On his arrival in Abbottabad, the Chief Minister was received by MPA Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani, MNA Ali Jadoon, MPA Rajab Abbasi, and MPA Iftikhar Khan. Provincial Minister for Local Government Meena Khan Afridi also accompanied the Chief Minister.

‎Addressing the inaugural ceremony, CM Sohail Afridi said this year marks a year of peace, development, and prosperity for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

‎He announced that Rs 200 billion have been allocated for the province’s development. For the promotion of tourism, Rs 50 billion have been earmarked. The Chief Minister added that Rs 1.40 billion have also been allocated to deal with the flood situation.

The Shamla Adventure Park, spread over 750 kanals, offers a range of recreational and adventure facilities for families and visitors.
