ISLAMABAD: Details of the salaries and benefits offered to senior management of the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) have been presented in the Senate.

According to a written response submitted by the Ministry of Petroleum, OGDCL Managing Director Ahmed Hayat Lak draws a basic monthly salary of Rs5.564 million, while Chief Financial Officer Muhammad Anis Farooq receives Rs2.837 million.

The written response further stated that Executive Director Aamir Saleem is paid Rs2.2 million per month, while the Executive Director HR and Executive Director Services each receive a monthly salary of Rs1.8 million.

Among the other senior officials, General Manager Habibullah Chauhan receives Rs700,000 per month, General Manager Dr Khalid Amin Khan draws Rs900,000, and General Manager Khurram Shiraz receives Rs1.1 million.

Company Secretary Wasim Ahmed has a monthly salary of Rs600,000, according to the details submitted to the Senate.

The response also disclosed additional benefits available to the listed officials. Their house rent allowance is equivalent to 45% of their salaries, while the company also provides them with official vehicles and fuel facilities.

The salary and benefits details were shared in the Senate in response to a question regarding the compensation packages of OGDCL’s senior management.
