The US Dollar continued its downward trend against the Pakistani Rupee in the interbank market on Thursday.
According to data released by the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the greenback depreciated by one paisa during trading. Following the decline, the US Dollar is now trading at Rs. 277.65 in the interbank market.
The slight drop comes amid a bullish trend in the Pakistan Stock Exchange and improved market sentiment. Analysts say continued inflows and stable economic indicators are putting pressure on the dollar.
The rupee has been gradually gaining ground against the dollar over the past few sessions.
