SWABI: The funeral prayers of young soldier Rehman Ali, son of Gohar, a resident of Naranji village in Razar Tehsil, Swabi, were offered in his native village.
According to military sources, Soldier Rehman Ali was serving as a driver in Balochistan, where he embraced martyrdom in a bomb blast while on duty. A large number of local residents, relatives, community elders and people from different walks of life attended the funeral prayers.
Following the prayers, the martyr was laid to rest with full military honors. On the occasion, the people of the area expressed their condolences and solidarity with the bereaved family, paying tribute to the soldier’s sacrifice for the defence of the country.
Locals said that the entire nation is proud of Rehman Ali’s martyrdom and that the sacrifices of martyrs will not go in vain. They prayed that May Allah elevate his ranks and grant patience to his family.
