RAWALPINDI: More details have emerged regarding Muhammad Hussain, who was killed after allegedly being involved in a shooting incident targeting security forces on Mall Road in Rawalpindi.
According to sources, evidence gathered during the investigation allegedly indicates that Hussain was an active worker of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Sources further claimed that Hussain had remained in contact with the party’s central and local leadership and allegedly acted on their instructions.
According to the sources, Hussain was also involved in incidents of provocation, stone-pelting and firing at police and administration personnel during protests and sit-ins.
The sources claimed that he allegedly used sophisticated weapons to target security forces during protest activities.
Further investigations are underway to determine the alleged network linked to Hussain and identify other possible facilitators, the sources said.
