The price of gold in the local and international markets has once again recorded a big increase, reaching Rs 459736 per Tola of 24 Karat.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, gold became more expensive by Rs 2,400 per tola in the local market, after which the price became Rs 459,736 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs 2,058, after which 10 grams of gold became Rs 394,149.

In addition, an increase of Rs 62 was recorded in the price of silver per tola, after which the new price of silver became Rs 6,965 per tola. On the other hand, gold per ounce in the global market became more expensive by $ 24 to $ 4,373.

It should be noted that factors such as global economic uncertainty, ongoing tensions in various regions, monetary policies of central banks, and changes in the value of the US dollar directly affect gold prices. This is why even a minor change in the international market affects prices in the local bullion market.

On the other hand, citizens who buy jewellery are concerned due to the continuous increase in prices. Traders associated with the bullion market say that due to high prices, the purchase and sale of gold has decreased significantly, and most buyers are buying only out of necessity.
