BUNER: Three members of the same family, including two children and a woman, were killed while two others were injured in a firing incident in Nawan Kallay Dagar, according to police sources.
Police said the incident is believed to have stemmed from an old enmity. The victims were from the same family, while the motive behind the attack is being investigated.
The injured were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Dagar for medical treatment.
Police registered a First Information Report (FIR) and launched an investigation into the incident. The suspects managed to flee the scene after the shooting.
The incident, in which five members of a single family were killed or injured, has caused fear and concern among residents of the area.
