RIYADH: Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, arrived at Al-Safa Palace on Friday, where he was warmly received by Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman. An important bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Saudi Crown Prince is underway at Al-Safa Palace.

The two leaders are discussing Pakistan-Saudi Arabia bilateral relations, cooperation, and various matters of common interest. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and Defence Minister Khawaja Asif are also accompanying the Prime Minister at the meeting.

According to sources, the talks are covering key issues including economic cooperation, investment, defense collaboration, and the regional situation between the two brotherly countries. The meeting is being seen as a significant part of efforts to further strengthen the long-standing fraternal ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

Earlier, the Turkish President also contacted the Saudi Crown Prince and discussed continuing diplomatic efforts for peace and stability in the region.
