The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports has initiated measures to simplify Pakistan’s cashless passport fee payment system, aiming to make the process more convenient, transparent, and efficient for the public.

During a visit to the Passport Office headquarters, Director General Muhammad Ali Randhawa reviewed the digital payment system and personally completed a passport fee transaction using a QR code.

After assessing the process, he expressed satisfaction with the system’s performance.

The DG directed officials to further improve the cashless payment mechanism to ensure faster service, reduce waiting times, and provide a smoother experience for applicants.

He also instructed the administration to maintain clean, organized, and comfortable waiting areas to enhance overall public service.
