ISLAMABAD: The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has issued an important message for its female beneficiaries regarding the transfer and withdrawal of quarterly financial assistance through digital wallets.
According to BISP, beneficiaries will receive an SMS from the relevant bank once their quarterly payment has been transferred to their digital wallet. The message will confirm that the amount has been credited to their account.
The programme said beneficiaries will receive another SMS after withdrawing the payment, containing complete details of the transaction. This will allow them to verify the amount received in their account and the amount withdrawn.
BISP further advised beneficiaries that if any retailer fails to pay the full amount or makes unauthorized deductions, they can use the SMS details as proof and demand their complete payment.
The programme urged beneficiaries to carefully check payment messages and remain aware of their transaction details to avoid any financial deductions.
