Good news for aspiring entrepreneurs and growing businesses, as Pakistani startups can now apply for financial support under the Prime Minister’s Cloud Programme, a new initiative designed to help young companies build, test and expand their digital products while reducing technology costs.

The programme, launched by Ignite under the Ministry of IT and Telecom, is accepting applications until July 10. Selected startups will receive reimbursement of cloud computing expenses of up to $13,500, helping them invest more in innovation and business growth.

What startups will receive

Besides financial support, selected startups will receive expert mentoring to improve their operations and grow their businesses. They will also have the flexibility to choose the cloud service provider that best meets their technical and business needs. According to Ignite, the programme is designed to reduce technology costs, allowing startups to focus on developing new products and reaching more customers.

Why cloud support matters

Cloud services allow businesses to store data, build applications and run digital services without investing heavily in expensive hardware and IT infrastructure. Ignite believes wider use of cloud technology will encourage innovation, improve efficiency and strengthen the country’s startup ecosystem.

Who can apply

Pakistani startups that meet the programme’s eligibility criteria can apply online until July 10. Those selected will receive cloud expense reimbursement of up to $13,500, along with technical guidance to help scale their businesses. https://ignite.org.pk/get-supported/
