PESHAWAR: The concerned authorities have started investigation into the alleged fake appointment of Naib Qasid in local government department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the directive issued by the Director Senior Local Government Tank, Order No. 544, dated June 4, 2026, relating to the appointment of Naib Qasid, which is circulating on social media and other sources, is fake and no appointment letter has been issued by the department.
The directive clarified that the recruitment process for any post in the Local Government Department is not underway at present, so the public should not believe such fake appointment names. The concerned authorities have also informed the provincial government about the matter.
According to sources, the provincial government has ordered an inquiry to track down the elements involved in issuing, preparing and publicizing the alleged fake appointment letter. Officials said that all relevant records will be reviewed during the inquiry and action will be taken against those responsible as per law.
The officials of the Local Government Department have appealed to the public to obtain information related to government jobs only from authentic official sources and to immediately report any suspicious or unverified appointment letter or claim of recruitment to the concerned authorities.
