LONDON: Renowned actress and host Fiza Ali has been honoured at the British Parliament in recognition of her contributions to raising awareness on women’s rights and social issues.

The award was given to her in a ceremony organized by distinguished personalities from different walks of life. The organizers appreciated her for raising her voice against the problems facing women and social awareness through her social activities and media appearances.

It is pertinent to mention here that the purpose of this award is to honour those who make their voices heard for bringing positive changes in society and making people discuss the burning issues of the community.

After being honoured, Fiza Ali said that it was indeed an encouraging award for her and also for all those women who were trying to empower themselves and achieve equality.

“I am dedicating this award to all the women of Pakistan and the world, especially to those who are fighting for equal status in society,” she remarked.
