PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Professors Lecturers and Librarian Association Boycott Classes against Privatization.
The teaching process will continue till 10:00 Am, President KP Professors Lecturers and Librarian Association said.
He said that amendments to teachers services rolls are illegal.
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Chief Secretary and Minister of Higher Education informed other officials in writing that their protests will continue until the demands were resolved, the president said.
Classes boycott is underway all over the province and this boycott will continue until reversing of the decision, President of the association Abdul Hameed said.
It is regrettable that the provincial government is not worried about the issues facing by the teachers and students. If government did not take their demands serious then they would completely boycott the classes.
It is to mention here that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government have decided to outsource those institutes and colleges which have demonstrated poor performance at academic level.
