The valley of Naran-Kaghan emerged as the most visited tourist destination in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the last 24 hours, by attracting 109,292 domestic tourists and 30 foreign tourists, official data revealed.
According to the latest tourist influx statistics released by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KPCTA), the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province recorded a daily influx of 231,786 domestic tourists and 41 foreign tourists, reflecting a strong flow of visitors to scenic destinations during the summer season.
In this connection, Swat Valley ranked second with 57,704 domestic tourists and seven foreign visitors, followed by Galiyat, which welcomed 48,472 domestic tourists.
Kumrat Valley received 15,900 domestic tourists, while Kalash Valley/Garam Chashma recorded 312 domestic and four foreign tourists. Booni/Mastuj registered 106 domestic tourists during the reporting period.
The KPCTA said the tourist influx data was compiled through police check posts, Levies check posts, KP Tourist Police, Assistant Commissioners’ offices, and field assistant directors of development authorities to monitor visitor movement across the province’s major tourist destinations.
