One terrorist was killed and another injured in a successful operation against Fitna-ul-Khawarij at Azamabad in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Friday.
In an intelligence-based operation, security forces continuously monitored the movement of Khawarij from the air. Upon sensing the presence of the drone, both Khawarij took shelter under a tree.
As a result of timely and effective airstrikes, both Khawarij were seriously injured. The injured Khawarij tried to take shelter in a nearby cave to save his life, but security forces identified him in time and killed him through effective airstrikes.
Later, security forces identified the Khawarij’s shelter and completely destroyed it through airstrikes. A clearance operation is underway in the area to ensure the complete elimination of any potential threat.
