ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir will participate in technical-level talks scheduled to be held in Burgenstock, Switzerland, on June 21.
The talks are being held as a follow-up to the recently signed Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, aimed at advancing discussions on matters agreed upon under the accord.
According to official, the prime minister departed from Islamabad for Switzerland, accompanied by a high-level delegation. The delegation is expected to take part in the discussions alongside relevant stakeholders.
The technical-level talks are expected to focus on implementing key understandings reached under the Islamabad Memorandum and exploring avenues for further cooperation.
