WASHINGTON: The US President Donald Trump has praised the relations between Pakistan’s political and military leadership, saying that there is excellent harmony between the various leadership institutions in the country.
In a statement, Donald Trump, referring to Pakistan, said that there is a Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, there who is a great personality, while the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, is also fulfilling his responsibilities and there are excellent relations between the two.
He said that Pakistan’s military leadership fully respects the Prime Minister and the cooperation and harmony between the two is commendable.
Trump said that this kind of mutual respect and harmony between the political and military leadership is a welcome and beautiful example.
He further said that positive relations and mutual trust between different pillars of leadership in Pakistan play an important role in the stability of the country.
Trump’s statement is being described as a positive comment on Pakistan’s political and military leadership, which is being paid attention to by various quarters.
