CHARSADDA: The district administration and traffic police has issued a detailed traffic management plan for the upcoming Shaheed-e-Islam Conference, urging citizens to use alternative routes and cooperate with traffic officials to avoid inconvenience.
According to the traffic plan, vehicles arriving from different directions will be directed to designated parking areas.
Participants coming from Mardan Road will be directed to park at the Government High School Ground and other designated parking sites.
Vehicles approaching from Peshawar Road will be diverted towards the Hashim Khan Arabai Ground parking area.
Traffic from Shabqadar and surrounding areas will be guided to specified parking zones near the conference venue.
Special parking arrangements have also been made at Mission School Road and adjoining grounds to accommodate a large number of attendees.
Traffic police personnel will be deployed at key intersections, including Farooq-e-Azam Chowk, Qazi Pump Chowk, and other major entry and exit points, to regulate traffic flow and assist commuters.
According to the traffic police, several roads around the conference venue will remain under special traffic arrangements, and designated parking areas have been allocated for participants. Citizens have been advised to use alternate routes to avoid congestion and possible delays.
Authorities have advised the public to follow traffic instructions, use alternate routes where possible, and cooperate with traffic wardens to ensure the smooth conduct of the conference and minimize traffic congestion in the city.
