PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has issued orders for transfers and postings of several senior officers of the Pakistan Administrative Service and the Provincial Management Service in a major shake-up of the provincial bureaucracy.
According to a separate notification, under these administrative changes, senior officers of grade 20 and 19 have been transferred, in which Syed Kazim Hussain Shah, a senior officer awaiting posting in the Human Resource Management Department, has been posted to the vacant post of Managing Director of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Urban Area Development Authority.
Similarly, another senior officer awaiting posting, Fazal Hussain, has been posted to the vacant post of Special Secretary, Higher Education, Archives and Libraries Department.
Among other senior officers, Khaliq Dad Khan, Additional Secretary, Higher Education Department, has been transferred and posted to the vacant post of Additional Secretary, Housing Department.
In addition, Aizazullah, an officer awaiting posting in the Human Resource Management Department, has been posted to the vacant post of Additional Commissioner Bannu, while Dr. Muhammad Ayaz, an officer of Rescue XI-22, has been sent back to his parent department, i.e. Relief, Rehabilitation and Settlement Department.
In the transfer of Grade 18 officers, Shakirullah, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Malakand, has been transferred and posted to the vacant post of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Finance and Planning, Malakand.
Deputy Secretary, Culture and Tourism Department, Meena Zahir, has been transferred and posted to the vacant post of Deputy Secretary, Irrigation Department, while Deputy Secretary, Elementary and Secondary Education, Farhan Khan, has been transferred and posted to the vacant post of Deputy Secretary, Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department. In his place, Ishtiaq Ahmed, an officer awaiting posting, has been posted as Deputy Secretary, Elementary and Secondary Education.
Appointments on deputation have also been made in the province, under which the services of Muhammad Shahbaz Khan, Section Officer of the Finance Department, have been transferred to the Climate Change, Forestry, Environment and Wildlife Department, where he has been posted as Deputy Director in the Environmental Protection Agency, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on deputation basis.
Similarly, the services of Nehal Abdullah, an officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service, awaiting posting in the Human Resource Management Department, has been transferred to the Galiat Development Authority, Abbottabad, and he has been appointed as Senior Planning Officer on deputation basis.
