TEHRAN: Israel has carried out airstrikes on military targets in western and central Iran, escalating tensions in the region following a series of missile launches from Iran. Explosions were reportedly heard in Tehran, Isfahan, and Tabriz, with additional reports of blasts near Karaj.
According to Israeli military statements, the strikes targeted strategic military installations and were carried out in response to recent missile launches from Iran. This follows a period of heightened activity after Iran fired missiles, citing retaliatory measures for previous regional incidents.

It has been reported that US President Donald Trump told Israel not to respond to any attack from the Middle Eastern nation, stating that America would stay away from the whole affair and would not get into the fight.
However, despite warnings from President Trump, the Israeli army struck at the Iranian sites leading to fears of an escalation in the region.
According to Al Jazeera, there were also reports of blasts in Lebanon’s capital city of Beirut amid tensions in the Middle Eastern region.

President Donald Trump said that he feared that all the tension could spoil the agreement with Iran, which was to be signed in a few days.
Trump Responds to Middle East Flare-Up, Urges Iran to Finalize Deal
Earlier, following retaliatory missile strikes on Israel by Iran, US President Donald Trump has advised Tehran to return to the negotiating table and finalize a deal.
As per reports from Turkish media outlets, Trump spoke on the latest development saying, “Iranian rockets have been fired, and that is enough. Now, the time has come to return to the table.” He added that everything was just a matter of days and that he expected the agreement to be signed as early as Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.
He also criticized the military operation carried out by Israel in Lebanon saying, “It didn’t go well when Israel bombarded the Dahieh area of Beirut without prior notification. These attacks won’t assist you in getting the deal.”
The latest attack launched from Iran came after airstrikes against Lebanon which is believed to be the first major incident since the previous month’s ceasefire deal. While the Israeli Defense Force admitted launching several rockets from Iran, most of the rockets were intercepted using the air defenses.
President Trump concluded by mentioning that the US forces were always alert.
