LOWER DIR (Zafar Ali Shah): Unknown individuals opened fire indiscriminately on a young man within the jurisdiction of the Chakdara police station, resulting in his death. The victim has been identified as Owais, son of Asfandyar, a resident of Chakdara.
According to sources, this tragic incident occurred along the banks of the Swat River, where the assailants targeted Owais and subsequently fled the scene.
Upon receiving reports of the incident, a significant contingent from the Chakdara police station promptly arrived at the location. After gathering evidence, they transported the body to Chakdara Hospital for a postmortem examination.
Police officials stated that a case has been registered and an investigation is underway into various aspects of the incident. Raids are being conducted to apprehend the suspects.
