YouTuber and former anchor of Pakistani television channels Imran Riaz has shown a lack of understanding in politics. He referred to the opposition leader of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Ibadullah Khan, as the son of federal minister Amir Muqam. In reality, the opposition leader is actually the younger brother of Amir Muqam.
In a recent video Vlog of Imran Riaz about Gilgit-Baltistan elections, he repeatedly called Ibadullah the son of Amir Muqam, although he is the opposition leader and top political figure, and remained MNA, chairman of the standing committees in the national assembly for two terms.

This highlights Imran Riaz’s lack of understanding of politics in Pakistan, particularly regarding Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Imran Riaz has been facing severe criticism from social media users for the video in which he called Ibadullah, Amir Muqam’s son.
Who is Ibadullah?
Doctor Ibadullah is a younger brother of Amir Muqam and an MPA from PK-30 Shangla-III. Mr Ibadullah has been an MNA for two terms and held different positions on the National Assembly standing committees.
He is currently serving as the opposition leader of the KP assembly, while Amir Muqam is the federal minister and president of the PML-N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Amir Muqam’s younger son, Niaz Khan, is a senator, elected in the last senate elections. Niaz Khan has also served as the district nazim in Shangla.
