Sindh police have recovered an 11-year-old girl, Hoorum Saeed, who was abducted from Peshawar the other day and taken to the Sindh rural areas.
According to SSP Kaleem Malik, a major search operation was conducted in the Kot Shahu area of Kutch to recover the girl who was kidnapped from Peshawar two days ago.
During the operation, a fierce exchange of fire took place between the police and the robbers, as a result of which one robber was killed and 13 were injured.
SSP Kaleem Malik said that the police set fire to and demolished several hideouts of the Bhanglani gang during the operation.
Due to continuous pressure and encirclement by the police, the robbers were forced to flee, leaving the girl behind.
It should be noted that Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi had also taken notice of this case, after which the police launched an emergency operation using all their energies to recover the kidnapped girl.
SSP Kaleem Malik further said that a search operation is still underway in the area to arrest the escaped robbers, and the suspects will be arrested and brought to justice very soon.
