KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Friday formally announced bank holidays across the country on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

According to the notification issued by the central bank, the offices and branches of all commercial banks will remain closed from Tuesday, May 26, to Thursday, May 28, due to which all types of business and office activities will remain suspended during this period.

At the end of the three-day holiday, all banks will reopen on Friday, May 29, as per their normal schedule, where office and business transactions will be resumed for customers.
