OpenAI has introduced a new and important feature in ChatGPT, which can significantly improve the user experience and save files in the library.
Under this new feature, files uploaded to ChatGPT will not disappear after the chat ends but will be saved in a separate library, so that they can be used for future conversations. This feature will be available for different types of files, such as spreadsheets, presentations and other documents. ChatGPT will remember these files according to the user’s instructions and will be able to refer to them in future chats.
Previously, ChatGPT used to forget the uploaded files at the end of each chat, but after the new feature, it will take the form of an AI workspace, which will provide a facility similar to Google Drive to some extent. The new storage system has separate capacities for different users. Free users will be provided with 500 MB, Go subscribers with 4 GB, Plus and Business users with 20 GB, while Pro users will be provided with up to 100 GB of storage.
After this feature, users will be able to retrieve information about their old tax forms, recipes, CVs and other important files from ChatGPT.
