BANNU: Nine terrorists of Fitna-ul-Khawarij were killed in a joint intelligence-based operation of police and security forces in Shad Khan Qilla village near Jani Khel area of Bannu.
According to details, police and security forces conducted a joint operation in the Shad Khan Qilla area of Bannu based on intelligence information about the presence of Khawarij and effectively targeted their hideout. During the operation, nine Khawarij were killed while one Kharaji was seriously injured, sources have reported. According to security sources, the Khawarij who were killed were also involved in the terrorist attack on Fateh Khel police station a few days ago, and their search was ongoing.
A clearance operation is underway in the area, and the search for more facilitators and escaped Khawarij is still ongoing. Khawarij and their facilitators are being selectively killed under Operation Azm-i-Istehkam.
