The gold price in Peshawar in the morning remained stable at Rs 492,462 on Wednesday morning; however Fluctuation possible after the afternoon, as last Tuesday the prices increased in both the local and global markets.

Last night, gold became more expensive by $41 in the global market to reach $4701 per ounce, which has also had an impact on the local market. According to the local bullion market, one tola of gold has become more expensive by Rs 4100 to reach a high of Rs 492,462, while ten grams of gold is being sold for Rs 422,206 after an increase of Rs 3515.

Similarly, an increase has been recorded in the price of silver, where silver per tola has become more expensive by Rs395 to reach Rs8908. According to experts, the prices of precious metals continue to fluctuate due to global economic uncertainty and investors’ tendency towards safe investments.
