US Democratic Congressman Edward Case has admitted that 39 US aircraft were destroyed in the Iran war.

Edward Case Peppered Pentagon CFO Jay Hearst with questions during a special hearing in the Senate committee, but when asked about the US losses in the Iran war, Jay Hearst kept answering many questions.

Congressman Edward Case referred to the Warzone website regarding the destruction of fighter jets. According to the Warzone report of this American website, the US Air Force flew 13,000 flights in the forty-nine-day war against Iran, but during this time, 39 US aircraft were destroyed, and ten more aircraft were damaged in various ways.

The website claimed that the actual number of aircraft destroyed could be much higher. Twenty-four USAF MQ-9 Reaper drones were destroyed. Five fighter jets were destroyed in the air: four F-15E Strike Eagles and an A-10 Warthog were also destroyed.

An F-35A was also hit in Iranian airspace, which was the first of its kind to destroy a fifth-generation fighter jet, but its pilot managed to eject safely. Three F-15Es were destroyed in Kuwaiti airspace. A valuable E-3G Sentry was also destroyed, which was a major loss for the United States.

According to the report, some assets were destroyed in Iranian territory to prevent Iran from capturing them.
