Pakistan Meteorological Department said predicted sunny weather for today, Wednesday, as the recent westerly wave moves out from the upper parts of the country.

In Central KP, including Peshawar and Mardan, expect hazy sunshine with temperatures climbing to around 33°C to 34°C. The air quality remains a concern in these urban centers, currently sitting in the “unhealthy” range, so take precautions if you’re outdoors.

Northern regions like Swat and Chitral may still see isolated afternoon showers or scattered thunderstorms, though these will likely clear by sunset. While the rain is tapering off, the risk of localized landslides in steep mountainous areas persists due to saturated soil from earlier this week.

By this evening, most of the province will enjoy clear to partly cloudy skies with light breezes and comfortable temperatures ranging from 24°C to 27°C in the plains.
