A brave citizen near the inter-provincial area of Jand and Khushalgarh bridge, Kohat, in the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region, sacrificed his life to save the local population from a major disaster.
According to details, a suspect (foreign terrorist) was moving through the fields near Jund and Khushalgarh Bridge, Kohat, when Liaquat, a resident of Mankoor village in Jund tehsil of Attock district, stopped him and asked for his identity.
The suicide bomber blew himself up in a panic, as a result of which the brave citizen Liaquat was martyred on the spot, while the attacker Khawarji also died in hell.
Martyr Liaquat was a retired employee of Pakistan Railways.
According to initial information, the foreign terrorist aimed to reach a sensitive check post located in the inter-provincial area; however, the timely bravery of the citizen prevented major casualties.
Martyr Liaquat became a wall in front of the enemy, saving not only the check post but also many precious lives nearby.
These incidents reflect that the Khawarjis, under the auspices of the Afghan Taliban, are trying to target civilians and security personnel; however, the forces, police and the brave people have put a lead wall in front of their nefarious intentions. –
The nation will never forget the sacrifice of Shaheed Liaqat. Brave citizens like Shaheed Liaquat are an asset to Pakistan.
