Australia has formally designated the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) as a terrorist organization, taking a significant step after recent terrorist attacks in Pakistan.
The Australian Foreign Minister confirmed the decision, saying that the step was taken in view of the recent terrorist acts and loss of human lives committed by the BLA in Pakistan.
He clarified that Australia condemns all forms of terrorism and seeks peace in the region.
According to Australian officials, all assets of the banned BLA in Australia will be frozen immediately after this decision.
Furthermore, any transaction or financial support with any individual associated with the organization will be considered illegal and strict action will be taken against those who violate the law.
