The price of gold in Pakistan and the global market witnessed the second big decline on last Monday and today in the morning the session, the precious metal was sold with Rs 479962 per Tola of 24 Karats.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs3,800, bringing the new rate to Rs479,962, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs3,257, settling at Rs411,490. Also, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold saw a drop of Rs2,986 to be sold for Rs377,212.
The downward movement was not limited to Pakistan. In the global bullion market, gold fell by just $38, reaching $4,576 per ounce. Silver prices also followed the same trend. The price of 24-karat silver per tola dropped by Rs100 to be sold for Rs7,914. Similarly, 10 grams of silver also decreased to be sold for Rs6,784.
