The Health and Population Department Punjab has announced an internship programme for students and graduates, offering a valuable opportunity for young professionals seeking careers in the healthcare sector.
According to details, the programme has been launched under the Directorate of Drugs Control Punjab with the aim of providing practical training and professional experience to youth associated with pharmacy and related disciplines.
The announcement states that the internship is specifically designed for Pharm-D students, graduates, and postgraduates from public sector universities across Punjab. Final-year students awaiting results are also eligible to apply.
Similarly, candidates who have completed Pharm-D within the last two years, as well as those who have completed their Master’s or MPhil within the same period, can also apply for the programme.
The department has clarified that the entire application process will be conducted online. Applicants will be required to register, complete their profiles, and upload the necessary documents through the official portal.
Authorities further stated that the deadline for submission of applications is May 12, 2026, and applications will be accepted until 12 midnight. Only online submissions will be considered.
Officials said the initiative aims to strengthen the healthcare sector by equipping young graduates with practical skills and professional training.
