LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that spectators will now be allowed to attend all three playoff matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), following formal approval from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The decision was confirmed by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi after a meeting with the Prime Minister. While granting permission for public attendance, the Premier emphasised that the move must align with the government’s ongoing national austerity drive. Consequently, fans are strongly encouraged to utilise public transport or adopt measures to minimise fuel consumption while travelling to the stadiums.

Prime Minister Sharif also extended his best wishes to the four teams competing in the playoffs. This development ensures a full stadium atmosphere for the crucial final stages of the tournament, balancing public interest with the country’s resource conservation efforts.
