ISLAMABAD: The District Administration of the federal capital has announced the easing of transport-related restrictions, allowing the entry of all types of public and goods transport into the city.

According to the official statement, all major bus terminals across Islamabad have also been reopened for operations, restoring normal transport activity in the city.

 

However, the Faizabad Bus Terminal will remain closed until further notice, the administration clarified.

Authorities stated that the decision has been taken to facilitate commuters while maintaining necessary regulatory control at key transit points.

Security and traffic arrangements have been tightened in the federal capital in view of the arrival of foreign delegations. The district administration has made special arrangements for essential supply vehicles.

It said vehicles carrying petroleum products, food items and medicines have been granted special permission to enter the city so that public needs are not affected.
