ISLAMABAD: Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has pushed India into the pit of destruction through his Hindutva ideology and extremist policies.

Sharing a tweet by Professor Ashok Sovin of Uppsala University in Sweden, Khawaja Asif wrote that Modi has become an insignificant figure on the diplomatic front.

Sharing a picture of Narendra Modi boating in the Hooghly River in his tweet, Professor Ashok Sovin had written that on one hand, Indian ships are being targeted in the Strait of Hormuz and on the other hand, Manipur is burning, but Modi is enjoying the river cruise, unconcerned with all these serious problems.

The professor added that this water comes from the Ganges, which India has diverted to Bangladesh at the Farka Barrage.

Reacting to Professor Ashok Sovin’s tweet, Khawaja Asif wrote that Modi has no other choice now.

Addressing Modi, he said that a year ago you were defeated in the war and suffered a blow whose wounds, thank God, will remain forever.

The Defense Minister described Modi as an unimportant figure on the diplomatic front and said that he no longer has any status.

Khawaja Asif further wrote in his post that during Modi’s rule, “Shining India” has lost its luster, although it has remained.

He wrote that Modi has pushed India into the pit of destruction through his Hindutva ideology and extremist policies.
